"It seems you don't understand me." He Ao gazed at the raised head, at the towering throne, at the upright bones, and sighed softly.
He calmly gripped the radiance in his hand, his arm slowly tightening. "Do you know why I kept avoiding the vortex before?"
The bones seated high upon the throne lowered their gaze slightly and stared at him. "Was it not to preserve your own life?"
Blazing flames burst from that arm in an instant, wrapping around the Purple Radiance clutched in his hand.
"What are you doing?!" A voice like booming thunder exploded across the sky. The massive Skeleton Giant immediately raised its hand. Its forearm naturally detached, and the huge skeletal palm reached down from above, grabbing toward He Ao below.
"Yes, it was to preserve my own life." He Ao tightly gripped the Brilliant Radiance, letting the Purple Radiance drown his entire body. "Because back then, I still had a child in this world."
However, before the palm could land on He Ao, it was submerged by surging Purple Radiance.

The Skeleton Giant seated on the skeletal throne lifted its head and stared at the purple giant swelling within the radiance. Its remaining hand tightened slightly around the armrest. "You're insane! Doesn't it hurt?!"
