Diffuse radiance spread through He Ao's mind. In that brief instant, he felt his vision and perception rapidly change into something alien.

He had studied the Magic Formation the Sage Master had given him. It seemed to be some kind of mimicry formation, and at first, He Ao had not understood how it achieved the effect of "stealing."

Now he did.

The formation's core purpose was not to "steal," but to briefly "fuse" him with the Dreamer's Remains.

Or rather, to let him "become" the Dreamer for a short time.

As He Ao's soul approached the Dreamer's Remains through the formation, countless violent, twisted thoughts exploded in his mind.

This "fusion" required a mystical affinity: either a direct descendant of the Dreamer, or a high-ranking transcendent of the same path who could briefly fuse with him through their connection in the Talent Sequence.

He Ao's becoming an angel had indeed been unexpected. After all, the Main World was hidden in some kind of mystical "deep sea," beyond the Desire Witch's reach.

Looking back, if He Ao had chosen to become an angel in the Copy World, the Desire Witch would probably have come for him soon afterward. His chances of surviving would have been slim.
