"Come, let Elder Brother take a look."
The moment He Ao stepped out of the small chapel, a figure rushed toward him.
He Ao instinctively wanted to kick him away.
But he held back.
Ivo excitedly rubbed his younger brother's face, then patted his shoulder. "It's been so long. You've grown sturdier."
He Ao's gaze swept over Ivo's body.
Though he was still covered in bandages, he seemed to be in much better condition. The bloodstains on the bandages had dried, with no fresh blood appearing. Even such large movements had not torn open his wounds, proving they were healing well.
Many of the bandages on his body had also loosened and fell to the ground as he moved.
It had only been one night. That pharmacist was truly skilled, managing to save him so quickly from such severe injuries.
As he spoke, Ivo suddenly cupped He Ao's face and began tugging at the corners of his mouth with his thumbs, forcing out a smile.
"Don't look so gloomy. Always looking like you're carrying a blood feud isn't good for your health. Come on, smile for Elder Brother."
He Ao could clearly feel his brows furrowing into a deep frown.
Calm down, calm down. I'm Nell now. This is Fourth Brother. He is Fourth Brother, after all.
Don't start throwing hands.
"Why aren't you talking? Are you feeling unwell?"
Ivo looked at He Ao strangely.
He Ao lowered his gaze and glanced at the hand pulling up his mouth.
There was a brief silence.
He took a deep breath.
Calm down, calm down.
"Hey, you're neither talking nor smiling. Come on, smile. Start the morning with a smile, and you'll feel great all day."
Ivo worked hard to tug at He Ao's mouth, trying to make his younger brother smile.
