A puzzled question came through the Walkie-Talkie.

Ke Duo held onto the edge of the helicopter and looked up at the dark night sky beyond the whirring rotors. "The situation over on Wenlan Island seems much more serious, so I'm going over to take a look."

Ke Duo nodded lightly and switched off the Walkie-Talkie.

He looked down at the silent sea beneath him and the city ahead beneath the night sky, then sat back down in his seat.

The figure slowly turned to look at Ke Duo. Its lips split into a seemingly gentle yet strangely twisted smile.
