The young military policeman curled up behind the piled-up fortifications, staring blankly up at the enormous reflection of a planet in the sky.

Ever since that planetary shadow had appeared overhead, the entire world seemed to have descended into an even more twisted madness.

Those monsters had gone insane, constantly attacking people and constantly attacking one another.

They were already close to running out of ammunition and supplies. Once the monsters broke through their defenses, everyone here would be doomed to die.

Beside the young military policeman, the Military Police Captain, who was firing his gun, tossed him a pack of cigarettes. "Get up."

"Captain, what's the point of struggling now?"

The young military policeman clutched the cigarettes and climbed to his feet dejectedly. He glanced at the frenzied monsters outside, then at his captain, who was still carefully conserving ammunition as he fired.
