Before long, he had traveled one or two kilometers. By then, the howling sound from the sky had finally reached somewhere nearby.

A massive mecha painted pure white appeared on the Snowy Plains not far from him.

He Ao glanced at it. Its design was somewhat similar to the Hell Apostle Mecha he had piloted before. It was a modified Hell Apostle model produced by Ives Space Systems Company, called the Fallen Angel.

This model was lighter, more agile, more energy-efficient, and highly resistant to cold and moisture. It was suited for combat on snowy plains and in mountainous terrain. Its drawbacks were its fragile armor, weak close-combat capabilities, and greater technical demands on its pilot.

Behind that Fallen Angel Mecha were two Hell Apostle Mechas with the same snow camouflage paint.

The two Hell Apostles were aiming at the Fallen Angel ahead of them and firing probing shots.

A little farther ahead from their position lay the Safe Waters. Beyond the Safe Waters was the Storm Sea.

On the Storm Sea, which was filled with lightning and storms, neither the Hell Apostle nor the Fallen Angel could function normally.
