The majestic giant tree tore its roots from the earth, while layers upon layers of twisted flesh writhed beneath its bark.
The emerald leaves and branches at its crown connected into an enormous canopy, then twisted and writhed through the sky like limbs of flesh.
Then, the branches twisted and transformed, turning downward before plunging toward the ground in a dense storm.
The White-Haired Girl watched the branches whistling toward her, backflipped away, spun once through the air, and landed steadily atop the small hill behind her.
Bang bang bang--
The flying branches pierced the ground where she had just stood, erupting with violent blasts and kicking up thick smoke and dust.
The White-Haired Girl glanced at the dust rolling across the ground, raised her right hand, and opened it slightly to reveal a small section of white "branch" in her palm.

The White-Haired Girl planted the staff in the soil. Milky-white radiance shone in her palm, rapidly spreading up the staff's body and igniting threads of white light at the center of the sphere at its peak.
The instant the white radiance lit up, the entire staff completely solidified,
