Distorted whispers echoed by his ears. Amid the shadows spilling out in every direction, the sharp, invisible blade in the youth's hand shattered completely, turning into pure phantoms.

The overlapping phantoms unfurled in the youth's hand, twisting into the shadow of a massive black fanged blade. Then, that pitch-black shadow sliced downward along the One-Eyed Giant's enormous body, cutting toward the incomplete soul attached to it.

The reason He Ao had insisted on getting close was for this very moment.

The range covered by Shadowless Sword's "Dream Severing" effect was not very great. He had to get close in order to attack.

The entire world seemed to freeze at that instant. The enormous crater still churned with lava, while countless bizarre scenes unfolded before He Ao's eyes.

It seemed like a dream. A blood-red sky, a ruined city, twisted creatures, people slaughtering endlessly.

An intense desire to kill, one that hated everything, seeped out of that dream and entered He Ao's mind.

And amid those murderous desires, He Ao clearly sensed a subtle hostility and hatred toward "leaders."

The One-Eyed Giant's pollution intensity and soul strength were far greater than those of the other two Evil Spirit Angels they had encountered. A mere glimpse into its dream in that brief instant would have been enough to drive ordinary superhumans mad.

Suppressing the twisted emotions in his mind, He Ao watched the bizarre dreamscape.

The intangible shadow seemed to have spread deep into the dream, touching its true core.

With a crisp sound that seemed to ring from the depths of his soul, everything around him trembled as though brushed by an unknown ripple.
