Retribution!
Absolute retribution!
After Umbridge tried to blow up the radio, only to be injured when the Explosion Spell collided with it and caused a violent blast, and was carried into the Hospital Wing, students throughout the school cheered and celebrated.
As Gryffindor students asked around about the previous night's broadcast, word of the Wizard Watchtower spread among the students at an astonishing speed. Everyone was curious about the pink toad's old scandals.
According to information leaked by Hufflepuff House students whose radios had not yet been confiscated, Umbridge had no connection whatsoever to the Selwyn family. Her father had never died, nor had he been any distinguished figure in the Wizengamot—Umbridge's father was Old Umbridge, who had once worked as a cleaner at the Ministry of Magic.
Once this matter came to light, everyone gained a new understanding of their High Inquisitor.
Though Hogwarts students did not feel as strongly about it as others, Umbridge's string of outrageous antics still made them despise and scorn her.
Of course, the information leaked by the Wizard Watchtower went far beyond that. For example, the station had somehow found a group of people claiming to be Umbridge's former colleagues and invited them onto the broadcast to expose all sorts of dirt from her past.
Naturally, the so-called guests were fake, but the people themselves were real. They had used Polyjuice Potion to disguise themselves, leaving no flaws for anyone to find.
Sirius Black and Lupin had pulled off an absolutely brilliant stunt.
"Umbridge is exceptionally skilled at currying favor with her superiors through false pretenses."
"Umbridge often ruthlessly steals the credit of other colleagues and claims it as her own."
Watching the excited Hufflepuff students chatter on endlessly, many Gryffindor and Ravenclaw students regretted missing the radio broadcast.
