"What are you looking at?"
Isabelle wrapped her arms around Albert's neck from behind, resting her chin on his shoulder. Her gaze fell on the strange metal book in his hands. Years of living together told her that the book had to be hiding some secret.
"Nothing."
Albert set the metal book on the bedside table and covered a yawn with his hand. "Get some rest early tonight. I'll take you out tomorrow. Staying at home all the time must be boring."
"There's nothing fun in Hogsmeade Village either."
Though Isabelle said that, she did not refuse. Staying at home all the time really was boring, especially alone.
"Where do you want to go on our date tomorrow?"
"A date... that brings back memories."
The bedroom lights soon went out, and scattered voices drifted from inside.
The lines sketched across the metal book's pages gradually vanished.
If someone had opened the metal book and looked carefully, they would have discovered that the page Albert had just flipped through was a map. Various ink dots covered it, and one of them was marked: Lucius Malfoy.
Finding Voldemort's whereabouts was not actually that difficult.
All he needed to do was find where Voldemort was hiding. As Voldemort's most loyal servants, the Death Eaters were bound to know where he was hiding.
By tracking a Death Eater, he could find Voldemort.
Albert happened to know of a Death Eater at Hogwarts, one who was easy to track: Professor Snape, Head of Slytherin.
Snape might have been a skilled wizard, but that did not mean he was skilled enough to spot traces left behind by magic at a glance, much less suspect that someone was tracking him.
