After tampering with Fudge and his group's memories, Albert was immediately surrounded by an enthusiastic crowd. Everyone talked over one another, asking what had just happened.
Sure enough, once people had done something bad together, their relationship always improved remarkably fast.
Albert was fairly satisfied with this. After glancing at the task he had just completed, he smiled and raised a finger to his lips. "Don't spread this around. I'm sure none of you want to bring trouble on yourselves either. We should all stick to the same story. You know what to say, right?"
"They knocked themselves out falling over," everyone said with grins.
They had all hit Fudge or Umbridge, so naturally none of them wanted to bring trouble upon themselves.
"Right, get them to the Hospital Wing first." Albert turned to his roommates. "Jordan, please go to the Entrance Hall and tell Professor Flitwick what happened here. Ask him to keep as many Aurors as possible from coming in."
"You lot, come help. Everyone else, disperse." Albert waved his wand and conjured several stretchers, then laid Fudge's group on them. He picked out several acquaintances and prefects to help carry them to the Hospital Wing.
Harry and the Weasley twins, meanwhile, called the others to gather in the Room of Requirement to discuss what came next. They were also planning a big surprise for Fudge's group.
"What happened here?"
Under Madam Pomfrey's stunned gaze, everyone carried Fudge's group into the Hospital Wing.
