Herb was speaking quietly with Daisy, who sat beside him, about their son's wedding on the passenger plane to France. Although the Andersons had long expected this day and prepared themselves for it, when it truly arrived, they still felt somewhat uneasy. Albert's wedding seemed rather different from what they had imagined.
They had never attended a wizarding wedding.
Thinking back on it now, ever since Albert had become a wizard, their family had been living in a very, very long dream.
The plane began to descend and, after a slight jolt, came to a smooth stop on the runway.
Herb led his wife, parents, and daughter off the plane with the crowd. They dragged their small suitcases toward the security checkpoint.
They used to go to King's Cross Station to pick Albert up and bring him home. Now, Albert had come to pick them up instead.
Time had passed so quickly!
Herb looked around, trying to find that familiar figure in the crowd, but there were people everywhere. He simply could not spot Albert.
Only after they had moved away from the security gates did they finally see that familiar figure waving and smiling at them amid the crowd.
Nia set down her suitcase, hurried over, and opened her arms to give Albert an enthusiastic hug.
"Why did you come alone?" Daisy asked in confusion after stepping forward to hug her son.
"It was more convenient for me to come alone." When Albert finally hugged Herb, he smiled and said to everyone, "Come with me. Europe hasn't been very peaceful lately, and this isn't a good place to talk."
"Where are we going, a hotel?" Nia asked, puzzled.
"No, it isn't safe there. I'll take you to a safe house." Albert looked slightly apologetic as he gestured for everyone
