Late at night, on a silent street, a figure cloaked in black stood before an old house and raised a hand to knock on the wooden door.

"Who is it?"

About thirty seconds later, there was movement behind the door, followed by a tense voice.

"It's me!"

The cloaked figure spoke.

"Severus?"

The door opened a crack, and a woman peered outside through the gap. Once she confirmed who it was, she could not help letting out a sigh of relief.

"I have something important to discuss with you and Draco," Snape told the woman inside.

"Come in first."

Narcissa stepped back and let Snape into the house.

A similar scene had taken place not long ago, except the circumstances had been completely reversed.

"Where's Draco?" Snape looked around and asked.

"Draco is resting in his room," Narcissa said softly. "The burning of the manor hit him hard. Do you need him for something?"

"This concerns Draco too. It would be best if he heard it as well." Snape had Narcissa go wake him.

Perhaps because he had heard voices coming from the hall, the nearby door suddenly flew open. Pale-faced Draco Malfoy emerged from within. He froze slightly upon seeing Snape, clearly not expecting to find him here.

"Did Bellatrix mention it to you?" Snape suddenly asked.

"Mention what?"

"Who might have attacked Malfoy Manor." Snape shifted his gaze to the baffled Narcissa and raised an eyebrow slightly. "It seems she hasn't had time to tell you yet."

"Who attacked Malfoy Manor?" Draco grabbed Snape's arm and demanded loudly.

"Though there is no evidence, there is a strong chance Albert Anderson set the fire," Snape said calmly.

"That damned Mudblood," Draco said through gritted teeth.

"Calm down. You're losing your head." Snape looked at Draco's twisted
