On the front page of the Daily Prophet, Minister Scrimgeour was encouraging everyone to keep fighting. The current difficulties were only temporary, and aid from various countries would soon arrive in England.
"Do you think it'll work?" Isabelle asked curiously as she set down the paper.
"It won't. Relying on others for help isn't realistic, but they still need some hope—something to give them the motivation to keep holding on." Albert had never expected other countries to send support. It had been obvious enough from the original course of events: there had not been the slightest sign of the so-called International Confederation of Wizards.
