"Damned, damned, every last one of them deserves to die!"
Late at night, a string of furious curses suddenly rang out in a deathly silent Muggle village. Bellatrix, who had just returned from outside, was throwing a tantrum in the hall. She wildly waved her wand, smashing everything before her to pieces.
"What's wrong, Bella?"
Only after Bellatrix had completely calmed down did Narcissa dare step into the wrecked hall. Looking at her sister's hideously twisted face, she asked with concern.
"Our control over Rosmerta has been exposed."
Bellatrix kicked away the armchair at her feet and turned to look at her sister, her lips trembling slightly. "Draco actually intends to go along with Snape's plan. He actually believes him..."
"Severus promised me long ago that he would keep Draco safe. I think he's trying to do exactly that." Narcissa was quite relieved by this. She had never cared what reward Draco might receive after succeeding; she only wanted her son to survive.
To a mother, nothing was more precious than that.
"Keep Draco safe? No, Snape is trying to steal the glory that belongs to Draco. He even intends to use us as bait. Draco told me everything—Snape planned to use us from the very beginning." Bellatrix roared furiously at her sister. "That sly bastard never cared whether Draco lived or died. He only wants to use Draco to kill Dumbledore, then have us thank him for it."
"I'm willing to trust Severus. Don't forget that he signed the Unbreakable Vow. I think he's trustworthy. If he truly needs that glory, I don't care, Bella. I only want Draco alive. He's my only child. I can't lose him." Narcissa looked pleadingly at her sister. "Besides, as long as Dumbledore can be killed, the Dark Lord will surely forgive you
