"Mom has been trying to stop us."

Watching the door close again, Ron lowered his voice. "Everyone has been trying to figure out exactly what we're doing."

"But Dumbledore—"

Hermione had barely begun before Harry interrupted her.

"There's nothing strange about that. Curiosity has always been human nature. Besides, Dumbledore is gone. It's perfectly normal that they don't trust me. After all, I'm not Albert, and I don't have Albert's abilities. No one would be stupid enough to place all their hopes on me."

Harry saw things more clearly than anyone.

He took out his notebook, tore out several pages of notes, then raised his wand and set them alight, watching them turn to ash in the flames.

"Don't say that, Harry. Everyone is willing to trust you." Hermione looked slightly uneasy. "Besides, I think Mrs. Weasley is only doing it out of kindness."

"Of course I know that. Mrs. Weasley is simply too worried about everyone's safety." Harry sighed softly, sounding rather helpless. "But she doesn't know that sometimes, unintended kindness can cause terrifying harm."

The room fell silent at once.

They all understood how important it was to keep the Horcruxes secret.

Once Voldemort learned that his greatest secret had been exposed, who knew what terrible things might happen?

"I think you all understand how foolish they are being. That man will kill everyone who knows the secret, unless the secret can no longer be kept hidden."

Harry knew Voldemort's methods all too well. That man would never allow anyone to know about the Horcruxes.

"So that secret must never be revealed, no matter what. Not only to destroy him, but for everyone else's safety as well."

He was actually reminding Ron, and also reminding the people outside the room who were eavesdropping on their conversation.
