"What was that?"
Hermione, who had been watching Harry and Ron team up against Sirius Black, jumped at the sudden silver glow.
Her scream startled the three people focused on their sparring.
The moment Ron lost focus, an Obstacle Curse blasted him away, sending him crashing heavily onto the floor.
"What is it, Hermione?"
Harry and Sirius stopped their duel and frowned toward where Hermione was pointing. A ball of silver light had landed on the floor and transformed into a silver cat.
"Bring the Two-way Mirror to contact Albert." Professor McGonagall's voice suddenly rang out.
"Was that Professor McGonagall's Patronus?"
Ron rubbed his sore backside as he walked over, staring at the Patronus that had vanished without a trace.
"Professor McGonagall wants to contact Albert?"
Harry turned to Sirius. He had long guessed that Sirius and the others had a way to contact Albert.
"Something must have happened. Looks like I'll have to make a trip to Hogwarts."
Sirius stared at the spot where the Patronus had disappeared, then headed straight outside.
"Could it have something to do with Snape? I remember Old Bat was supposed to become Hogwarts' headmaster," Ron said, feeling that he had figured it out.
"Probably not." Harry shook his head.
"No one would want Dumbledore's murderer to become Hogwarts' headmaster. Maybe Professor McGonagall wants to join forces with Albert to drive Snape out of Hogwarts, or..." Ron made a throat-slitting gesture. If they really wanted revenge for Dumbledore, making Snape disappear would not be difficult.
"Definitely not. I think it's probably for those students born to Muggle families." Hermione shot Ron a glance, utterly unable to understand how he had reached that conclusion.
"Don't forget the Muggle-born Registration Commission. The Muggle-born employees who used to work for the Ministry of Magic were rounded up
