Hagrid ultimately could not be persuaded. Harry, Hermione, and Ron were all rather helpless about it. They all felt Sirius was right, but since Hagrid himself was unwilling, they could hardly say much more.
That evening, Hermione went to Harry and Ron's dormitory to discuss the next day's plans and help them check whether they had packed everything.
After all, there was no telling when they would return from this search for Horcruxes.
"...So, we'll first visit the expelled students at the shelter, then go to Godric's Hollow." Hermione frowned slightly. She knew why Harry insisted on going to Godric's Hollow, but...
"Don't worry, Hermione. Even if someone really is watching the place, it can't possibly be The Dark Lord. Besides, we have the Detection Pocket Watch. If it really detects danger, it won't be too late to leave then."
Harry thought the risk of going to Godric's Hollow was manageable. Besides, if they were frightened off by such a minor problem, how would they face Voldemort in the future?
"But, Harry..." Hermione hesitated for a moment, then lowered her voice. "They can probably guess that once you're free to act, the first thing you'll do is visit your parents' graves, can't they?"
"I don't think Voldemort has enough free time to personally wait there for me," Harry said disdainfully. "He looks down on me. That's our advantage."
"Harry, could you not use that name?" Ron said weakly. "Can we call him No-Nose Monster instead?"
Harry paid no attention to Ron and continued, "We also need to go to Hogwarts. We need the Sword of Gryffindor or Basilisk venom, so that we can destroy it once we find that thing."
