Albert looked over the people opposite him. Sure enough, they were all Harry's acquaintances and supporters.
No one spoke. They simply watched Albert quietly, waiting to see what he had to say.
Albert got straight to the point. "I'll be frank. In the British wizarding world today, many wizards have chosen to remain neutral, fence-sit, or side with The Dark Lord. All we can do now is gather like-minded people to resist him."
"Of course, there's an even more important reason."
"What reason?" Hannah asked.
"According to that prophecy from more than a decade ago, Harry and The Dark Lord are destined to fight. He needs everyone's support." Albert revealed a rather explosive piece of news.
"Is this the important matter Harry mentioned?" Dean could not help asking.
"Yes. Harry is preparing for it."
"We can't just stand by and watch him fight alone against The Dark Lord and his vast number of lackeys. He needs help, and right now, only we can help him."
The moment Albert finished speaking, he received a wave of applause.
"Of course, fighting Dark Wizards is extremely dangerous. Meaningless sacrifices are unnecessary, but don't be discouraged by that. Even if some of you are too young or not skilled enough to take to the battlefield in the end, you can still contribute your share toward helping Harry defeat The Dark Lord."
"We can fight too. We're not afraid of dying," the Crevie brothers protested unhappily.
"I know," Albert said gently. "Don't worry. You still need to undergo rigorous Defense Against the Dark Arts training, so that you can protect yourselves better."
"Will you teach us?" Dean looked at Albert expectantly. "And, do we count as having joined the Defense Association now?"
Everyone pricked up their ears. This was what they
