"Do you think those traitors will really sneak out tonight to rescue someone?"
In an empty classroom near the entrance to the Room of Requirement on the eighth floor of Hogwarts Castle, two Investigation Action Group members on night watch spoke in low voices, discussing the task Alecto had assigned them.
"I don't know, but I hope we can catch them ourselves. Madam Alecto said that if we manage to capture them, we'll have a good chance of becoming Death Eaters directly after graduation."
The other speaker lowered his voice even further. There was a trace of longing in his tone as he spoke, as though joining the Death Eaters were something to be proud of.
The other gave no opinion and abruptly changed the subject.
"Have you heard any news about Draco recently?"
"Why bring up that guy now?" The voice carried a hint of disdain at the mention of Malfoy.
"The Malfoy family is completely finished."
"I heard Draco married Pansy not long ago."
There was an inexplicable trace of emotion in Goyle's voice. Pansy's sudden leave from school had once puzzled many people. Probably no one had expected that she had left school to marry Draco.
"I really don't understand why Pansy would like a loser." Crabbe was deeply contemptuous of the Malfoy family's downfall. The Malfoy family that had once been worth obeying was gone.
Just then, faint footsteps suddenly sounded outside, as though someone were quietly approaching.
The two stopped talking. After exchanging a glance, they immediately drew their wands and quietly moved toward the classroom door, intending to use the cover of the Disillusionment Charm to launch a surprise attack on the Dumbledore's Army members passing through the corridor outside.
"Oh, what a surprise. Malfoy actually got married."
