Having just finished the emergency meeting, Harry and the others sensed the strange atmosphere and took some pies and Butterbeer back to their room to celebrate. No matter what, foiling the Death Eaters' plot once again counted as a great victory.
"Why do you think Moody was so wary of Albert?"
As Ron spoke, he glanced furtively at Hermione and picked up a pie from the plate in his hands.
"Don't know."
Harry did not care about it.
"I think his worries are unnecessary. What bad intentions could Albert possibly have? He just wants to defeat The Dark Lord, that's all." Hermione accepted the pie Ron handed her, thanked him, then took out her wand and conjured several glasses, filling them all with Butterbeer.
"Maybe Moody knows something, or perhaps Dumbledore told him something?" Ron speculated after taking a sip of Butterbeer.
"Just eat your pie!"
Ginny picked up a pie from the plate, practically ready to shove it straight into Ron's mouth to make him shut up.
"There's always a reason." Ron viciously bit into the cold pie. "It's rare to see Moody with that kind of prejudice."
"What's wrong, Harry?"
Ginny ignored Ron. Most of her attention was on the silent Harry.
"Nothing. I just think my progress with Fiendfyre is too slow!"
The recent chain of events had given Harry an inexplicable sense of urgency. Yet mastering the Fiendfyre Curse was a crucial part of what came next, while his Fiendfyre training was progressing as slowly as a turtle.
Noticing the concerned look from the red-haired girl beside him, Harry accepted the Butterbeer Ginny offered him, took a small sip, and changed the subject.
"Anyway, Snape really is lucky."
