There was a reason underage wizards were hard to trust. Most students really were unreliable, and that had something to do with their long lives in the ivory tower that was Hogwarts.

When Albert returned to the shelter, the hall was bustling with busy people, making the place look especially lively.

Among the crowd, Kingsley was directing everyone to clean up and decorate the venue for the Yule Ball. They were working even more efficiently than Albert had expected.

"Are you staying for the dinner later?"

While laying tablecloths over the round tables, Harry happened to catch sight of Albert. He set aside his work and came over to speak with him, seeming to have something on his mind.

"I just came to take a look, and while I'm here..."

Albert walked over to a Christmas tree and piled the remaining Christmas gifts from his Undetectable Extension Charm beneath it.

"...I brought them some Christmas gifts."

"Christmas gifts! Oh, right, is there one for me?" Harry asked, picking up a gift.

"Yes, two for everyone. Hmm, there should be enough gifts left to hand out."

"That's wonderful. They'll all have to thank you. Christmas without Christmas gifts is simply unimaginable." Harry tilted his head toward the side and suggested, "Shall we talk over there?"

As they spoke, the two headed out of the hall. After passing through the corridor, they turned straight into a secluded room.

"I can control Fiendfyre now," Harry said in a lowered voice.

"With Liquid Luck?"

Albert was not particularly surprised. Liquid Luck essentially enhanced all aspects of the drinker's latent abilities.

"Yes. I took Liquid Luck and controlled Fiendfyre easily." Harry spoke calmly. "I practiced for a long time following your notes, but I could never succeed. Then later..."
