Late at night, Fred's arrival woke everyone who had remained at Order of the Phoenix headquarters.
As they drank the strong tea Mrs. Weasley had just brewed to shake off their drowsiness, they listened to Fred explain why he had come to headquarters at this hour.
"So, you're planning to infiltrate the Ministry of Magic tonight and rescue those imprisoned wizards?"
Ron was left staring open-mouthed by Fred's words. He truly had not expected the Defense Association members to be so bold.
They were planning something huge!
"Isn't this a bit too reckless?"
Everyone looked somewhat uneasy. They all knew perfectly well what consequences would follow if they brazenly stormed the Ministry of Magic to rescue people now.
Though it might also have been the best solution available.
"Albert believes this is undoubtedly a carefully prepared Death Eater trap, so we have to get them out before they can react," Fred explained, fully aware of everyone's concerns about the Ministry. "We've already confirmed it from Dolores Umbridge herself, but as long as we know about the traps they've set in advance, the problem will be easy to solve. We can rescue them before the other Death Eaters react and get out of the Ministry safely."
Fred had great confidence in Albert. Though he felt that the Defense Association alone could handle the matter, Albert must have had his reasons for sending him to notify the Order of the Phoenix.
