Albert swung the disguised Elder Wand almost at the same time as Voldemort. A green spell and a golden spell burst from their wand tips, colliding in midair as the two began a contest of magical power, neither able to gain the upper hand for the moment.
It should have been said that Albert had won from the very beginning. He simply had no intention of revealing that his magical power far surpassed Voldemort's, so he had to restrain his strength to avoid crushing Voldemort outright. That was why they had reached this stalemate.
