When the Dementor appeared outside the compartment door, not only did Percy's expression freeze, but so did those of the other prefects in the compartment. It was their first time facing a Dementor—facing such an evil Dark Creature.

Whatever they had thought before, all they felt now was a chill rising from their spines and swiftly spreading through their bodies, leaving them unable to feel any happiness.

"Black isn't here!"

A voice suddenly rang out in the silent compartment.

Albert watched as the Dementor actually took a deep breath toward their compartment and frowned, clearly feeling some of his happiness being sucked away.

Isabelle beside him seemed to have been affected by the Dementor as well, which worsened Albert's mood even further.

Albert reached out and pushed aside the frozen Percy, raised his wand at the Dementor preparing to enter the compartment, and repeated, "Sirius Black isn't here!"

When he saw the Dementor still reaching for him, Albert immediately recalled his first date with Isabelle. He raised his wand, pointed it at the Dementor's face, and softly uttered the spell he had practiced countless times: "Expecto Patronum!"

A huge Hippogriff burst from the tip of Albert's wand. Its massive body slammed straight into the Dementor's face, knocking the monster radiating an ominous aura out of the compartment.

"Get out. Didn't you hear me?"

Albert's voice was cold, like an icy winter wind. "The person you're looking for isn't here, and you aren't welcome either."

With that, he stepped out of the compartment and commanded his Patronus to drive the Dementor away.

As for the Dementor going off to torment the other students, that was none of his concern.

When Albert returned to the compartment, he found every prefect inside staring at him in stunned silence.

They watched Albert's silvery-white Hippogriff
