Ron's First Love

The two spent some time settling the matter of the house, then pretended they had just arrived and quietly appeared on the streets of Hogsmeade Village.

The third-years visiting Hogsmeade Village for the first time were like a pack of curious children. Completely unafraid of the cold wind, they wandered all over the village, as if they wanted to take the whole of Hogsmeade Village in at a glance.

After stocking up on sweets at Honeydukes, the two planned to head to The Three Broomsticks for some Butterbeer.

Many students had crowded inside to keep warm. The moment Albert entered the pub, he spotted Fred, George, and Lee Jordan among the crowd. The three were huddled in a corner whispering, and when George saw Albert, he gave him an OK sign.

"Sure enough, pubs are always lively."

Albert scanned the bar, found an empty table, and had Isabelle go claim it. He went to the counter to buy two warmed Butterbeers from Madam Rosmerta, the charming and beautiful proprietress who was very popular with Male Wizards.

In the novels, Ron seemed to have secretly had a crush on her too. Just thinking about it was rather amusing.

Albert carried the two Butterbeers back to the table and saw Hermione and Ron preparing to join them.

"There aren't any other empty tables."

Hermione looked a little embarrassed. There really were no seats left in the pub, and only when Ron brought her over did she realize that the pretty redheaded girl was Albert's girlfriend.

Albert handed Isabelle her Butterbeer and smiled at the two of them. "It's fine, sit down!"

"I'll go get the drinks," Ron said, getting up and heading for the counter.
