Triggering the "Innocent Dog" quest through Phineas had left Albert fairly satisfied overall.

In fact, Albert had been trying to trigger the "Save Black" quest all along. There was no way he was going to work for free.

As for whether Phineas was casting a wide net or truly believed Albert could save Black, Albert did not care in the slightest.

As long as the Quest Panel offered a Galleon reward, he was not worried about the other party reneging.

Perhaps asking a portrait for money was indeed unreliable, but once he completed the quest, the panel would not short him a single Galleon.

Where would the money come from?

Naturally, the Black family would pay.

"The 'Save Hippogriff' quest has now been completed." Albert checked the quests on the panel and muttered, "Next comes settling the grudge between Black, the black dog, and Peter, the rat."

He had already dismantled the original plot, but Albert was not worried at all. He had figured out what to do next: one day, he would toss Crookshanks over to Hagrid's place, and Peter would have no choice but to flee in panic.

Still, the number and quality of quests triggered by this matter were rather disappointing.

Aside from "The Dead Man" and "Expose the Secret," which had been triggered earlier, only the newly triggered "Innocent Dog" remained.

"Banish Dementor," triggered some time ago, could barely be considered related, but its reward was rather ordinary.

It would have been nice if he could trigger a few more quests related to Black.
