Albert made his way around the crowded students, entered the Great Hall, and sat down beside the Gryffindor table.
There were still plenty of empty seats in the Great Hall, while hordes of students crowded around the entrance seeking Krum's autograph. The star athlete was rather frustrated himself, having discovered that Hogwarts students had apparently known he was coming and had actually prepared quills and parchment in advance for him to sign.
Krum had wanted to refuse, but in the end, he signed for each of the enthusiastic girls. Only after Durmstrang finally chose seats beside the Slytherin table did he manage to escape those eager fans.
Beauxbatons had no such problem. They chose seats beside the Ravenclaw table. Albert suspected it had something to do with the banners corresponding to the Ravenclaw table. There was no doubt that Beauxbatons preferred blue; it was obvious from both their carriage and their school crest.
"Look at Professor McGonagall's expression!" Shanna gestured for Albert to look toward the teachers' table.
