Albert idly leafed through the notes in his hands, listening to the blizzard howling outside. He raised his head to glance at the pitch-black window, then looked at the pocket watch beside him. It was clearly already seven in the morning, yet outside still felt like four or five in the morning. The blizzard had been raging all night.

Hearing the rustle of turning pages, Tom opened his eyes toward the room's only light source. He poked his head out of his warm cat bed, opened his mouth in a yawn, then curled back up again.

It was truly freezing outside.

That was the reality for most students: they were all huddled in their warm beds, unwilling to get up. Fred, George, and Lee Jordan were perfect examples.

Even the dormitory's heater could not dispel the chill lingering in the air. This was the coldest part of winter in all of Scotland.

Albert looked at the notes he had revised into a complete mess and sighed softly. They recorded his plans for the future: building a safe house, forming a force to resist Voldemort, gaining reputation and quest rewards along the way, and eventually eliminating Voldemort. There was also a backup plan in case Potter died in his confrontation with Voldemort. Then there were plans to infiltrate the Ministry of Magic and place his own people inside. Though Albert disliked politics, he still needed allies of his own within the Ministry, and in fact, he had already begun working on it. There were plans to establish a profitable all-purpose company, with Fred, George, and Lee Jordan all part of it. He would bring Sirius Black and Lupin into it later, and the beauty products were already being arranged as well. Then there were marriage arrangements and plans for his life.
