In a secluded corner of the Hogwarts library, Albert stared at the Defense Against the Dark Arts manuscript he had compiled earlier, his brow tightly furrowed. He had discovered that much of it needed to be revised.
Since learning combat techniques from Professor Flitwick, he had gained new perspectives on certain matters. The Defense Against the Dark Arts manuscript he had spent so much time writing now looked more like hollow theory piled high with flowery language.
Perhaps this was what they called growth.
Of course, Albert was in no hurry to cut and revise his manuscript. Before he had learned all of Professor Flitwick's knowledge and experience, revising it would only mean preparing for the next round of revisions.
He pulled out a sheet of parchment and began recording his views and understanding of certain matters, preparing for a comprehensive revision later.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you!"
At some point, Hermione had taken the seat to Albert's right and was examining what he was writing with great interest.
Seemingly sensing someone's gaze, Albert looked up in its direction. After catching sight of a certain sports star behind a bookshelf not far away, he withdrew his gaze and turned back to Hermione beside him with a smile. "How has your training been going?"
"Great. I've learned quite a lot of useful things from Sirius and Professor Lupin." Hermione lowered her voice and shared what had happened during their recent training in the Forbidden Forest.
Even though she and Ron had merely accompanied Harry during his training, they had still learned plenty of useful things.
However, judging by Hermione's tone, she seemed to hope that he would join them too and learn something useful from Black and Professor Lupin.
Albert could tell Hermione meant well, so he simply smiled.
