"Do you want to learn how to use Transfiguration to fight others?"
"Yes, Professor," Albert said sincerely.
Professor McGonagall paused what she was doing and looked up to study her prized student. In a mildly reproachful tone, she said, "You haven't been to the Transfiguration Club for quite some time."
"I can't learn anything new at the Transfiguration Club anymore. And as you know, I've always been busy, so I can only spend my limited time on other things." Albert had been in the Transfiguration Club for years and had already learned everything Professor McGonagall taught.
In fact, much of what Professor McGonagall taught at the Transfiguration Club was repetitive. After learning that knowledge, staying any longer would have been a complete waste of time.
"I heard you've been learning combat techniques from Phileas?"
Professor McGonagall did not pursue the matter of Albert frequently skipping the Transfiguration Club. She knew that he had already learned everything she taught there, and she also knew he had always been busy.
"Yes. Professor Flitwick's dueling experience has benefited me immensely." Albert nodded in admission. There was no point denying it anyway.
"So, you're hoping to learn something from me?" Professor McGonagall raised an eyebrow slightly, having guessed Albert's intention.
"What I lack most right now is experience." Albert looked at Professor McGonagall and said calmly, "I hope to gain some experience and inspiration from you in using Transfiguration in combat."
Albert's rate of improvement was astonishingly fast. It was difficult to imagine that a wizard who had known nothing could reach his current level in just a few years.
It was as though everyone else was still jogging while he had mounted a Firebolt and vanished into the distance.
Professor McGonagall had even heard from Professor Flitwick that Albert had mastered the Fiendfyre
