Harry might never understand how things had ended up like this. Just moments ago, he had been in the maze on the Quidditch Pitch, competing in the third task of the Triwizard Tournament. How had he suddenly been kidnapped and brought here?
He had not even figured out why he had suddenly passed out or why he had been abducted, but Harry knew his situation was not looking good.
A man both unfamiliar and familiar came into view. He was the enemy Sirius had wanted to kill at every moment, and Harry's enemy as well—Peter Pettigrew.
Peter stood before a large cauldron, though Harry had no idea what he was doing.
Before Harry could think about when Peter Pettigrew had kidnapped him, the man's shocking action left him staring in disbelief. Peter actually placed an incredibly ugly baby into the cauldron. What was he trying to do?

The scar on Harry's forehead suddenly burned with unbearable pain, nearly making him pass out.
Vaguely, he heard Peter Pettigrew muttering. Then he felt a blade stab into his arm. When Harry struggled to open his eyes, he saw a black figure slowly rising from the cauldron.
When the man stepped out of the cauldron and put on the robes Peter Pettigrew handed him, a bone-chilling shudder ran through Harry's whole body. That face had appeared often in his nightmares over the past three years.
