Morning sunlight slipped through a gap in the drawn-back curtains on a breeze, spilling across the large bed in the master bedroom.
Albert, who had been busy all night, was still fast asleep, but Isabelle beside him was already awake. Lying on her side, she watched Albert's peaceful sleeping face, seemingly admiring the way he looked asleep.
"Time to get up."
Isabelle gently pushed Albert's shoulder, but he showed no reaction.
She reached out with a slender, pale finger and poked Albert's cheek. Albert, who had been sleeping soundly, groggily opened his eyes.
"Morning!"
Albert covered a yawn with his hand and closed his eyes again.
Isabelle propped herself up in bed, letting the sheets slide off her snow-white skin. She stretched, then leaned down toward Albert, who was trying to catch some more sleep. "You promised you'd get up and do morning exercises with me."
"You can ask Katrina."
Albert covered another yawn and rolled over, intending to go back to sleep.
"I think you need exercise too. It helps maintain your figure and stamina." Isabelle looked at Albert, who was trying to slack off, kissed his forehead, and said, "Besides, didn't you say you had something to do and needed to get up early today?"
Albert ultimately failed to get away with being lazy. Under Isabelle's watchful eye, he got up, brushed his teeth, changed clothes, and headed out to the yard to exercise.
A breeze drifted by, filling the garden with a faint floral fragrance. It was quiet, warm, and pleasant. Compared with the chaos in the wizarding world outside, this place was practically a paradise apart from the world.
The house-elf Kara had already prepared tea. After drinking some to rehydrate, the two stretched each other out, then began jogging around the yard.
Albert did not
