Roar! A thunderous roar echoed in every direction.
The terrifying sound carried the savage aura of a soul beast, spreading without restraint and leaving everyone present slightly stunned.
Confused, they turned their heads as one toward the source of the noise—the dark alley nearby.
Boom! A terrifying Green Fatty suddenly burst out of the alley. Like an enlarged armored vehicle, it charged violently toward the entrance of the Auction House.
"What is that?"
The little girl listening to her grandfather widened her large eyes at the sight, then stammered.
"Grandpa, didn't you say no one had ever dared to provoke the Auction House? Why is that Green Fatty running toward it?"
"Th-this is obviously a mindless soul beast. It doesn't understand danger. Don't worry, those guards will kick the monster flying in a moment," her grandfather hurriedly said.
"Is that so?"
"Of course. Look, those guards are already preparing to fight. What powerful Soul Power fluctuations! So many soul rings! Just watch, the guards will definitely kick that monster flying."
Boom! A deafening crash rang out, and the ground shook.
Two guards shining with several soul rings were sent flying, kicked straight into the wall.
Gah! The grandfather who had just finished speaking was dumbfounded, his mind going blank.
Weren't the guards supposed to kick the monster flying? How had the guards been kicked flying instead? And two of them at that! What was going on here? They had even been kicked directly into the wall. That slap in the face had come far too quickly.
The grandfather's face burned. To save face, he hurriedly said, "There are still two guards who haven't been kicked flying. Where are they?"
Boom! Boom! Boom! The thunderous crashes continued.
The muscular Green Fatty grabbed the two guards and repeatedly smashed them into the ground. After three slams, the two guards were unconscious.
"Pah, so weak!"
The Green Fatty tossed aside the two guards, who had nearly been smashed senseless, twisted its fierce oversized head, then crashed through the gates and charged into the Auction House.
"This..."
The grandfather stared blankly at the sight. Watching the Green Fatty rush into the Auction House, he stood frozen in place like a statue.
"Grandpa, I don't think you're suited to teach children about Soul Masters in the village anymore," his granddaughter suddenly said.
"Why not?"
"Because you'll teach them into idiots."
Grandfather: "..."
"Cough, cough. Grandpa underestimated the Green Fatty's strength. Don't worry, there's a powerful bald man inside the Auction House. He's a Spirit Douluo, incredibly strong. He'll definitely defeat the Green Fatty."
The grandfather hurriedly tried to salvage the situation.
Boom! Another tremendous crash sounded.
A bald man suddenly flew out of the Auction House, smashing into the wall with a boom before lying there motionless like an idiot.
Gah! The grandfather was dumbfounded again.
That was the Spirit Douluo he had just mentioned. Yet the moment his words fell, the man had been thrown out. What was this supposed to mean? Could he at least spare him some face? This old man had his pride too, okay?
And could they stop slapping him in the face so quickly? Couldn't they at least give him time to react? The grandfather was nearly in tears. It felt like anything he said would be wrong. Was he even allowed to live? Depressed, he stopped talking and hurriedly left with his granddaughter under her strange gaze, heading somewhere safe.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions rang out continuously inside the Auction House. The entire building shook violently, with stone fragments flying everywhere.
In only a few moments, the Auction House collapsed with a thunderous crash, turning into ruins.
Roar! The earth-shaking roar resounded through the sky again. Li Xuan twisted his oversized head as he leaped out of the Auction House storeroom, then charged toward Blue Tyrant Academy in the distance.
Though he had only stayed briefly this time, he had still gained a great number of treasures from the Auction House. Many precious auction items had been looted clean, leaving him with another huge haul.
Blue Tyrant Academy.
Tai Tan, chieftain of the Strength Clan, stood at the entrance of Blue Tyrant Academy with his grandson Tailong, speaking to each other.
"Grandpa, I'm still too young to attend Blue Tyrant Academy. Going later would be the same, so why did you insist on bringing me here?" Tailong asked helplessly.
"Hmph, how could those ordinary schools possibly be worthy of teaching a direct descendant of the Strength Clan? Blue Tyrant Academy was founded by Liu Erlong. Only a school founded by her is qualified for you to attend."
Tai Tan spoke in a deep voice, heavily patting Tailong on the shoulder and nearly knocking him unconscious.
"Grandpa, you're way too strong. You nearly knocked me out with that pat," Tailong said with a helpless bitter smile.
"What do you mean, I'm too strong? You brat are just too weak," Tai Tan said, his voice booming like thunder.
"It's not that I'm weak—it's that you're too strong. Grandpa, even among Spirit Douluos, you should be considered above average, right?" Tailong cautiously asked.
"Above average? Bullshit! Even if I encountered a Title Douluo, I could still fight him. Below Title Douluo, no one is my match. What the hell would a brat like you know?"
Tai Tan slapped Tailong to the ground and roared angrily.
"Grandpa, I never knew you were this strong. You can even fight a Title Douluo. That's amazing!" Tailong said worshipfully as he climbed up from the ground.
"Of course! My martial soul is the Mighty Ape. I possess boundless strength. Below Title Douluo, I am invincible!"
Tai Tan proudly summoned his martial soul, releasing an immensely powerful aura.
"Huh? What's that? Why is it running toward Blue Tyrant Academy?" Tailong suddenly looked into the distance.
"It's a green-skinned monster. Perfect, I'll let you witness my strength. I can take it down with one hand."
Tai Tan spoke proudly as he summoned his powerful martial soul and stood in front of the Green Fatty. Dense Soul Power rippled continuously from him, making the surrounding air seem to freeze.
Such a miraculous change and such immense pressure made Tailong's eyes widen in shock.
"So powerful! Grandpa is actually this strong. It looks like that Green Fatty is done for."
Tailong spoke excitedly, ready to watch his grandfather display his might and defeat the green monster in one move.
Boom! After a deafening crash, the Green Fatty barreled past like an armored vehicle and charged into Blue Tyrant Academy with a rumble.
At the entrance of Blue Tyrant Academy.
Tailong stared blankly at his grandfather, who had been stomped into the ground with one foot, his mind completely blank.
He had thought his grandfather would defeat the Green Fatty in one move. Yet the instant they came into contact, the Green Fatty had stomped his grandfather into the ground, embedding him directly into it.
That scene completely stunned Tailong, leaving him standing there like an idiot.
After a long while.
Tailong finally came to his senses and hurriedly went to help his grandfather.
"Grandpa, are you okay? I'll get you out right away."
"Don't—don't move. Hiss, let me recover for a moment. Let me recover. It hurts like hell. Eight of my ribs are broken," Tai Tan said, sucking in cold breaths from the pain.
"What? Eight broken ribs?!"
Tailong was terrified. He had thought his grandfather had merely been stomped into the ground, never expecting that eight of his ribs had been broken.
"Yes, and that was with me fully activating my martial soul to protect myself. Otherwise, I would've been stomped to death in one kick."
Tai Tan's face had turned green. He felt utterly humiliated.
He had originally intended to show off his tremendous strength to his grandson and defeat the Green Fatty in one move.
But now, things had turned out like this.
The Green Fatty was completely unharmed, while he himself had ended up flattened into the ground. Worse still, eight of his ribs were broken. This was simply a lesson written in blood.
Depressed, Tai Tan said hoarsely, "Damn it. I'll never show off again. This is too miserable."
PS: After careful consideration, the five-minute duration of the Green Fatty Experience Card was indeed a little imprecise, so the author decided to adjust the setting and change it from five minutes to ten minutes.
The earlier chapters will be revised one by one. From now on, just treat it as ten minutes.
Also, this book's results are exploding. It has already reached sixth place on the free rankings, better than my previous two books. As expected, everyone still likes this kind of writing style.
