The Louvre Museum had two libraries.
One was located in the Hall of Mirrors built by Louis XIV. It had once been the secret chamber connected to Louis XIV's bedroom. From 1722 onward, it served as the meeting room of the French Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture, before later becoming the Academy's library.
The other was near Marly Courtyard.
