How had the Sun pierced the winter fog to shine upon the battlefield of Austerlitz?
Before Severus's eyes, the scene seemed to reappear: at sunset, the Sun stood within the archway of the lion Arc de Triomphe. But on the day the battle began, it had been morning. The Sun should have risen in the east...
"What is it?" Lucius asked, watching Severus suddenly stop.
"There's an ambush," Severus said.

"I don't think anyone would believe that," Lucius said, shaking his head.
"Sunrise, sunset, damn it!" Severus clutched his head. "What else have I missed?"
"You may be overthinking it," Haji said.
"I understand now. Austerlitz was at sunrise, yet the Arc de Triomphe commemorating that battle lies to the west," Lucius said absentmindedly.
"The Louvre Museum is to the east..." Severus took out the map. "Have you been here?"
"Place du Trône?" Lucius asked. "I have."
"How did it feel?"
Lucius looked at him in bafflement.
"It says Place de la Nation on there," Haji said.
