There was also a Statue of Liberty in Luxembourg Gardens.
It looked exactly like the ones in New York, on Swan Island, and at the Museum of Arts and Crafts. It stood on the western side of Luxembourg Gardens, beside an amusement park called "Green Chick" and a small greenhouse. Narcissa Malfoy was waiting for them on the path to the Statue of Liberty, between the greenhouse and the amusement park.
She was not alone. Beside her stood a carriage and four terrifying-looking winged horses. They breathed leaping flames like dragons, with gray eyes and magnificent manes.
Severus looked at Lucius.
"What is this?"
"A gift." Lucius put on airs. "Do you remember Beauxbatons' carriage during the Triwizard Tournament? This one is more or less the same."
"How do you have something like this?" Severus asked.
"I could buy Hogwarts Castle if it were for sale." Lucius planted his cane on the ground. "It is only a carriage with an Extension Charm. I do not see what is so remarkable about it."
Severus smiled and shook his head.
"Can I take a look?" Felix asked excitedly.
"Of course," Lucius said generously. Felix immediately sprinted toward the carriage.
Before he could open the door, it opened by itself, and a handsome young man with light-colored hair stepped out.
"This is my nephew, Orlando Higgs. His mother is a Black," Narcissa said. "You may know his cousin. Terence Higgs used to be Slytherin's Seeker."
"I remember him," Severus said. "But I do not know you."
"I attended Beauxbatons, sir," Orlando Higgs said politely.
"He knows who you are," Narcissa said. "And he also knows that you can decide who the next head of the Black family will be."
Severus regarded the young man without betraying anything.
"Go have a look," Lucius said
