As she neared the edge of the stage, Georgiana took out that Golden Snitch again.

It looked no different from Harry Potter's Golden Snitch that had hidden the Resurrection Ring. This item had been made to replace the Golden Snidget, a bird nearing extinction.

It was fast and agile, more than capable of evading predators. Yet wizards loved chasing them around on broomsticks for sport.

So what was the difference between the "fit" and the "strong"?

She clenched her fist and put the Golden Snitch away, then looked up at the woman in the velvet cloak, who had now lowered her hood.

"Good day, Madam," the woman said in french.

"Who are you?" Georgiana asked suspiciously. She had thought Britain's female Minister for Magic, Lufkin, had come.

"You may call me Cassandra," the woman said.

Georgiana froze for a moment.

"You're from that family of seers..."

"I have a question for you," Cassandra said. "In roughly thirteen years, this world will undergo a catastrophe. People will once again face food shortages. Will you use magic to help them?"

Georgiana's eyes widened.

"What kind of catastrophe?" she asked after a long while.

Cassandra glanced up at the sky before looking back at Georgiana.

"Have you heard of the Ten Plagues of Egypt? One day, Egypt's sky suddenly turned black. People were as blind as if they had lost their sight and could only light lamps to see. The disaster they suffer this time will last much longer."

Georgiana immediately thought of a volcanic eruption. She remembered that there had been a Chinese wizard who specialized in studying volcanic activity. Before the French Revolution, Iceland's volcanoes had erupted.

But the volcanic ash then had not darkened the sky. The last time it had reached that extent was during the Justinian Plague, when
