A flash of bright light went off. Pomona looked in that direction and found the reporters "once again" interviewing the Malfoy family.
There was no denying that the "Platinum Family" was indeed eye-catching. They were all handsome men and beautiful women, but the sight of them with Rita Skeeter made Pomona grit her teeth with hatred.
"Head of House!"
Pomona looked toward the voice and found Jessica Trin from her own House. Primasha from Slytherin stood beside her. Both girls wore formal gowns, so Pomona had not recognized them at first.
"Hi." Cedric waved at Jessica.
Jessica looked at Cedric the way "all" girls did, but she still turned her gaze toward Pomona.
"What are you doing here?" Jessica asked such a silly question.
"I was invited," Pomona said with a teasing smile. "Did you sneak in?"
"I came with my dad."
"So did I," Cedric said from the side. "I came with my dad."
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss." Amos Diggory extended his hand to Jessica.
"It is a pleasure to meet you too, sir," Jessica said, shaking Amos Diggory's hand.
"Perhaps you would like to play with your friends for a while?" Pomona asked Cedric.
"I'll come find you later," Cedric told Jessica.
"Sure." Jessica waved at Cedric. "See you later."
Then Jessica Trin "flew" back to Primasha like a happy bird. No one knew what the two said to each other, but they giggled foolishly together.
Jessica Trin was part of Cedric's "circle of friends," and her father was also a member of the Goblin and Red-Nosed Wizard Financial Alliance. Pomona felt that Jessica could serve as Cedric's next "female companion," so there would be no need to worry about that tense scene in the tent happening again.
