Perhaps because the atmosphere had grown a little dreary midway through, Greta arranged an entertainment. Dozens of actors dressed as characters from Chocolate Frog Cards appeared in the venue. For a moment, Pomona felt as if she were attending a Hogwarts feast. The difference was that these were living people in medieval clothes, while those at the feast had been pearl-white ghosts.

Uric the Oddball, wearing a jellyfish hat, was perhaps playing some sort of clown. He repeatedly made a fool of himself amid the group dance, drawing laughter from those around him. Then Pomona saw Greta enter the dance, taking on the leading role.

The true stars of tonight should have been the herbologists and Herbology itself, such as Cliodna, who had discovered the properties of the Moondew Flower. Yet the actress playing her merely had three little birds circling around her as she spun along the edge of the group dance. Her costume was not nearly as splendid as Greta's, either.

No matter what, as long as Greta was happy.

Pomona thought gloomily, then happened to spot an "interesting" scene. Three girls all wanted to dance, but there was only one Cedric. In an instant, Cedric seemed to have become the prince of Troy, with three goddesses demanding that he decide who should receive the "Golden Apple."

"I think Cedric may need your help, Amos," Pomona said to the stunned Diggory.

"Oh, right," Amos said dully, as if Bigfoot's story had left him utterly muddled.

Moondew Flower was not only an ingredient in Invigoration Potion, but also one of the ingredients in Draught of Living Death. One potion put people into an unending sleep, a slumber like death, while the other awakened them.
