Georgiana had seen Figor spar with a Portuguese man in Paris. Back then, she had used a rapier.
To be honest, Figor was less proficient with a two-handed sword than with a rapier, something even a layperson like Georgiana could see. When Figor wielded a rapier, she could trace lines as precise as geometric figures, matching her opponent. With a two-handed sword, however, she seemed merely to be swinging it in wide arcs, chopping and thrusting.
Of course, perhaps that was simply how a two-handed sword was meant to be used. And Figor wielded it so quickly that it even left afterimages.

As everyone watched, a burst of applause and cheers suddenly rang out.
She looked over and saw that it was the guest who had just mentioned the Napoleon novel to her. He had been called away before he could finish speaking.

Georgiana observed more closely and found that Figor had indeed swept and slashed with both sides of the two-handed sword.
"Why not call it the Iron Bird?" Georgiana asked.
Just as Brick was considering how to answer her, the "guest" approached with the members of the knightly order.
