"Stop right there, you hateful puppet."

Pomona followed the sound and saw a puppet—Paul—running ahead, with two furious students chasing after him.

"What's going on?" Pomona stopped the students and asked.

It was not that she was defending Paul. That seemingly "harmless" puppet was actually very dangerous.

"He knocked over the ink... Our notes are ruined!" said the Gryffindor boy.

"You can borrow someone else's notes," Pomona said.

"That puppet has caused plenty of trouble. Why not throw him out?" said the Ravenclaw boy.

Pomona considered how to explain the matter.

"Don't worry. I don't want to stay in this place at all," Paul said from nearby, having come back after leaving.

"Then don't run if you've got the nerve!" The Gryffindor boy pulled out his wand.

"Magic is forbidden in the corridors. You should go back and study," Pomona told the students.

They left reluctantly. Once they were gone, Pomona walked over to Paul.

"This place is too stifling." Paul looked up at Pomona. "I hate this place."

"Oh, really?" Pomona said with a smile.

"Once they graduate, we'll leave."

She had always thought Paul was the sort who cared only about his own happiness and not whether others lived or died.

"Thank you for thinking of them," Pomona said.

"Why can't Goblins become dragon tamers?" Paul asked.

"Sorry, what did you say?" Pomona asked.

"After all these years, wizards still haven't changed at all," Paul said contemptuously.

"I haven't heard that Barnaby and Cooper plan to become dragon tamers," Pomona said.

"You still don't understand what I mean, do you?" Paul asked.

Paul was mad enough that people in the past had locked those universally acknowledged as lunatics inside his "amusement park."
