The wind swept through the valley with a mournful howl. Dew-speckled grass seemed to be stirred by an invisible hand, reflecting a dazzling brilliance beneath the sun, much like the sweat flung from the athletes on the Quidditch Pitch.

"This map doesn't seem to show every part of the castle, like the Chamber of Secrets," said the teenage Sirius Black as he looked at the map.

"That's only a legend. No one knows whether it really exists," Pomona said, also looking at the map.

"No, I believe it does exist." Sirius shook his head. "It's just that whoever discovered it later hid the entrance again."

"What? Why?" Pomona asked in surprise.

"To keep its treasures for themselves," Sirius said expressionlessly.

"Wasn't it because it was too dangerous?" Pomona lowered her voice. "I heard there's a Basilisk guarding it."

"Do you believe it or not?" Sirius frowned impatiently.

Pomona giggled.

Sirius looked at her in confusion, as though he could not understand why girls liked "rumors" so much.

Pomona followed Dexter to the area near the History of Magic classroom, but he did not enter the classroom. Instead, he led her up onto a small platform outside it.

The castle had many such impractical decorations. The walls around this platform were covered in oil paintings, while the opposite side displayed several "historical exhibits," such as a horn confiscated during the Goblin Rebellion. Supposedly, they had used it to summon their forces, but it had already been broken when it was found, stuffed full of cheese.

Pomona turned back to Dexter. He had been sniffing along the wall the entire time.

"Do you need to go to the toilet?" Pomona asked.

"Woof!" Dexter sat on the ground, wagging his tail with his mouth spread in what looked like a smile.
