An enormous soap bubble suddenly appeared before Georgiana. Before she could react, it burst in front of her. She blinked reflexively, but the "little angels" beside her took it as proof that their prank had succeeded and happily skipped about with reeds and soapy water in hand.
There were other children behind them, using all sorts of "tools" to blow colorful soap bubbles. They floated everywhere through the courtyard of the "Little Stars" orphanage. Some even flew high, drifting toward the monastery across the way where Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper" was kept.
She felt those soap bubbles could never reach that dining hall, because it was far too distant.
At the same time, she felt a powerful sense of unreality, because this place was so close to the "Last Supper."
