Huo Xuan fought the Emperor Pill after it declared its intent to rule the Dou Qi Continent, defeating it with the Heavenly Flame Eternal Ruler. He refined the Emperor Pill into a pill and then turned his attention to the others.

• The Emperor Pill declared that it would rule the Dou Qi Continent, and Huo Xuan challenged it to battle.
• The Emperor Pill and Huo Xuan formed colossal Dou Di Bodies and clashed, but Huo Xuan overpowered the Emperor Pill.
• Huo Xuan summoned the remaining Heavenly Flames from their wielders and fused all twenty-two into the Heavenly Flame Eternal Ruler.

The Flame Clan invaded Gu World, and Gu Yuan pleaded with Huo Xuan to spare the Gu Clan, but Huo Xuan refused. Huo Xuan destroyed the Gu Clan and its descendants, leaving only dispersed remnants of the bloodline beyond Gu World.

Ten years after becoming clan leaders, Yao Tian and Lei Dong met with Huo Xuan, who offered them Emperor Pills and proposed that they join him in the Great Thousand World. He planned to raise them as the Medicine Emperor and Thunder Emperor and establish the Endless Fire Territory with them.

• Huo Xuan arrived at the pavilion where Yao Tian and Lei Dong were waiting and explained that he had spent the past decade refining his power, restoring Source Qi, and awakening the Strange Fires.
