Background

Ximen Qing is the eldest son of the Ximen Family and an early rival of Xiao Feng. Qi Panjian openly despises him and would rather see Xiao Feng as his brother-in-law, establishing Ximen Qing's rivalry with Xiao Feng before their direct confrontation. 5

During the Mystic Dao Assembly, he orders his brother Ximen Sheng to teach Xiao Feng a lesson after Xiao Feng humiliates Ximen Xue. 15 He later personally challenges Xiao Feng, turning their contest into a witnessed life-and-death battle. 18 19

After his defeat, Ximen Qing is left with depleted essence and blood. A Blue-Robed Envoy approaches him with a secret plan and assigns him a crucial role, drawing him into the Creation God Sect's scheme. 26 He subsequently sacrifices Ximen Sheng, Ximen Xue, and other family members to obtain their divine source energy and advance his cultivation. 30

Ximen Qing is jealous, prideful, and intensely competitive toward Xiao Feng. His desire to prove superiority repeatedly drives him to escalate conflicts rather than accept defeat. 18 19

Forced into desperation, he unveils Extreme Ice Bloom, Hundred-Breath Ice Domain, and the forbidden seventh level of the Ice Soul Art. 20 21 His eventual loss leaves him severely injured and desperate for greater power. 26

Flowing Wind City Calamity

Working with the Blue-Robed Envoy, Ximen Qing engineers the Soul-Devouring Nether Array and sacrifices his own family to reach God King Realm power. 30 He returns to Flowing Wind City empowered by the Creation God Sect's Divine Source and attacks Xiao Feng and Qi Qingyun. 32

Final Confrontation with Xiao Feng

Ximen Qing intercepts Xiao Feng after Qi Qingyun is sent away, admitting that he orchestrated the deaths of Xiao Feng's loved ones to torment him. 40 He captures and tortures Xiao Feng rather than accept his offer to heal Ximen Qing's damaged life essence. 41
