Actually, Hogwarts's weather had not been very good since October.
The endless, drizzling rain had lasted almost the entire month, and damp air spread through Hogwarts Castle, seeping out waves of chill.
By November, that chill had finally turned into heavy snow, covering Hogwarts Castle.
Snow filled the sky, making the drifts thicker and thicker, as if pressing down so hard the students could hardly breathe. Even walking became a shivering ordeal.
It was not until December arrived that the weather was the first to breathe a sigh of relief, gradually brightening.
At least in Hogwarts Castle today, there was no bone-piercing wind and snow whipping wildly about, and the cold air carried a fresh feeling.
Sunlight fell through the mist-like clouds, plating the white snow on the ground with a faint layer of gold.
The students passing by the windowsills saw the glittering gold beyond the lawns and could not help smiling, already beginning to look forward to today's Quidditch match.

"I think it'll end with a huge score! It should be... five hundred and seventy to twenty!"
"That's a bit exaggerated... I'm more conservative. The final score should be three hundred and twenty to... hmm... one hundred and fifty!"
"Stewart, you little—one hundred and fifty? You think Harry will catch the Golden Snitch, don't you? You're looking down on Cho! The score will definitely be four hundred and seventy to nil!"
"That's way too
