He really could not go on. He only felt something clogging his throat, a sour sting rushing straight to his eyes.
"Ah!" He burst out with a heart-rending roar.
It was not a werewolf's howl, but a cry mixed with wild joy that erupted from the deepest part of his soul.
As if venting decades of pain, struggle, and fear, he staggered a few steps forward, seeming as though he was about to collapse to the ground.
"No! Thank you!" He waved his hand, pushing away a Hit Wizard who tried to support him, and raised his hand to point at the sky. "I want to talk to it! I want to talk to it!"
"Moon! Look at me! Look at me!" he screamed madly at the full moon high above, tears and snot streaming all over his face and dripping from his chin to the ground.
Although his face looked an utter mess, his eyes were exceptionally bright, like two burning flames.
"I'm not afraid of you! I'm not afraid of you anymore!" he shouted in an already hoarse voice, every word seeming to be squeezed out of his chest with all his strength. "Do you hear me? I'm not afraid of you ever again!"
