The silence in the Conference Hall lasted only a few seconds before it was broken by Fernandez's cry of surprise.
He stared at the rifle in his hands, still smoking, then shifted his incredulous gaze to Jacob Kowalski. "Merlin's beard!"
After making sure Jacob Kowalski was safe and sound, he turned to Dumbledore. "This magic really is amazing, but I still thought of a problem. It's like the report I mentioned earlier..."
"A Dark Wizard and a Dark Muggle reached a cooperation. Through some kind of Alchemy, they added some sort of magic to the bullets, allowing them to penetrate the Shield Charm."
"Mr. Dumbledore, the problem I thought of is..." He paused. "If we were facing those Alchemy bullets, would this magic still be applicable?"
"Of course it would!" Dumbledore said with certainty. "Mr. Fernandez, I mentioned this when I explained the magic earlier."
"The brilliance of this magic lies in the fact that after an object enters its effective range, the magic guides it in another direction, preventing it from harming the person protected by this magic."
"In fact, when England Aurors dealt with Dark Wizards, they also encountered similar Alchemy bullets. Only after these bullets made contact with the Shield Charm would the Alchemy clumps hidden inside them take effect."
"The Alchemy clumps hidden in the bullets are the key to the bullets' ability to penetrate the Shield Charm. Perhaps you can look over there..." He raised a hand and pointed in one direction. "Then you'll understand what I mean."
Not only Fernandez, but the other directors also looked where Dumbledore was pointing. Several holes had appeared in the Magical Energy Field, traces left by bullets piercing through it.
Seeing those marks, Jacob Kowalski's expression changed. "Oh! Now that really is frightening!"
There was lingering fear in
