Hagrid grabbed one of the Quintaped's legs, exerted force with both hands to force its knee joint together. Then he swung his massive fist and hammered down hard on the protruding knee.

With a bone-chilling crack, the Quintaped did not even have time to struggle much before it went completely still, its other four legs drooping down as well.

Hagrid had only just dealt with one Quintaped when he caught sight of another out of the corner of his eye.

This Quintaped had circled around from the side and climbed onto Hermione. All five of its legs tensed as it prepared to attack.

"I'll deal with the Quintapeds!" Hagrid immediately turned toward it and hurled the Quintaped in his hands at it.

After being struck, the Quintaped rolled miserably across the ground several times before finally regaining its balance.

With a faint glow coming from the greaves on his feet, Hagrid locked onto the other Quintaped and charged again with his head lowered like an enraged rhinoceros.

The Quintaped was rammed clean off the ground, its five legs flailing wildly in the air before it crashed down heavily. It could only keep struggling in agony.

Hagrid's arrival completely changed the situation. Neither Hermione nor Ron needed to worry about the Quintapeds attacking them anymore, allowing them to focus on the Dark Wizards around them.

Hermione waved her Wand, drawing several paths through the air in quick succession.

She first used the Obstacle Curse to trip her enemies, then restrained them with the Full Body-Bind Curse, and finally subdued them completely with the Stunning Spell.

Buoyed by the joy of seeing Hagrid, Ron once again cast "Manifestitch Timoris," replenishing the number of Acromantulas.

For Hermione and Ron, the Quintapeds were undoubtedly extremely troublesome opponents.
